My name is Dr. Danny Geren and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am also a practitioner of Intuition Medicine® energy healing. One of my passions is education, leading me to teach at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco for 6 years. I am also currently on the faculty at the Academy of Intuition Medicine in Sausalito.
One of the main goals of my practice is to be a partner in your health. I structure my practice so that I can have plenty of time to compassionately listen to what you have to say and truly be on your team for your health and well-being.
I believe that healing must take into account not only our physical body, but also the emotional and spiritual conditions that so often contribute to our ailments. Chinese Medicine is exciting to me because it is all-natural and truly treats the whole person. I believe medicine needs to see patients as more than a series of parts and Chinese medicine provides a holistic lens through which to diagnose and treat with this in mind. Blending this with Intuition Medicine® energy healing provides another diagnostic method and treatment modality that works very well together.
Many of my patients want to understand their conditions from the Chinese Medicine perspective and so I created a series of short videos on Demystifying Chinese Medicine excerpted from classes that I teach on various aspects of this ancient art that is so profound and effective.
Through my years of practice, it has been common for patients to say how much acupuncture and Chinese medicine have changed their lives. I am honored to be a partner in my patients’ journey to wellness and have found a great deal of joy and gratification in this path.
