Dr. Mackenzie is a compassionate, highly skilled acupuncturist with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. Her path to Chinese medicine began with a background in Western medicine, earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology and training to become a Physician Assistant. However, clinical experience in nursing inspired her to pursue a more holistic, patient-centered approach to healing.

With years of experience in community acupuncture, Mackenzie has treated patients from all walks of life, honing her clinical skills and deepening her empathy. Now in private practice, she offers personalized, one-on-one care using acupuncture, cupping, and moxibustion, always focused on treating root causes and supporting the whole person—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Mackenzie brings a unique perspective as both practitioner and patient. Her own experiences with migraines and insomnia have led her to advanced training in treating these conditions through acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and other traditional techniques. She is passionate about oncology support, particularly for patients undergoing chemotherapy or recovering from uterine and breast cancer, though she loves to support all patients undergoing cancer treatment. She also offers fertility support, including IVF preparation, and women’s health, having worked alongside specialists in women’s health to hone & advance her treatment skills.

As a certified Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT) practitioner, Mackenzie helps patients find lasting relief from allergies, building on her collegiate research into acupuncture and NAET. She is especially passionate about pain management and has pursued extensive continuing education in this area. Her practice also includes support for autoimmune conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Hashimoto’s, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as recovery from stroke and Bell’s palsy.

Her integrative approach blends Western and Eastern medicine to create a supportive, welcoming environment. Believing that every symptom—physical or emotional—is meaningful, Mackenzie takes pride in solving the body’s puzzles and helping patients leave feeling supported, validated, and genuinely cared for.
